The teacher career is known by everyone. Everyone already been in contact with a teacher. I want to give justice to a career that is essentials in everyone life's, but that most people take for granted
What is it like to be a teacher?
Being a teacher is hard. Most of American teacher find their job frequently stressful, overwhelming, and thinks their school is under staffed. They deal with students with depression, absenteeism, anxiety. They feel like theirs a lack of interest in their classroom. They have to deal sometimes with verbal and physical abused and have to do the job of a social workers and not only a teacher. Half of them said that have a life and work balance is difficult.
What do teachers do?
A teacher does many things. They educate, learn and inspire the new generation. They will keep updating themselves on new way to teach. They will keep learning new tricks and new information because there are human and don't know everything. They teach to students to have a critical thinking, pedagogical content. They try to give their passion to the students and due to that they can make the student wanting to work and give effort to success. All they want to do make a mark and a difference in the student life.
What do teachers do on a typical day?
A typical day for a teacher usually start at 8 AM.The teacher has four to five hours of teaching to a class, a recess and a lunch break. During the week, they have time to plan lessons, mark or prepare the assessments it's called professional period. During the teaching hours they supervise work and students, maintain discipline in the classroom, give lessons and answers questions and keep the student awake and help keep their attention to the teacher and the lessons.

The teacher can work in many places like primary school, elementary school, college, university. They also can work at home to correct assessment or create lessons plan

To become a teacher a college degree is required to become a teacher, a five-year bachelor's in elementary or secondary education that includes subject specialization, teaching courses. You have a one-year internship to acquired skills like organization, communication, time management.

Teachers may need to keep themselves update about some way to teach or the new technology to not being as been in their job and keep the students actives.

The dangers of being a teacher is that more than 50% of the students do not care about you, they are distracted by the cellphone. The majority's of the teacher even say that some students are disrespectful toward them. Some teachers said that they been a victim of verbal abuse and 40% of them already live physical violent by one of the students.
What are the chances that teachers will be replaced by robots soon?
There's a low chance that the artificial intelligence is going to replace the teacher because they are still full of fake information. Teachers are more likely to tell the truth. If a teacher doesn't know the answer he will tell you, but the robots will tell you lies. Teacher aren't their only for learning but to create a connection, and you cannot have a connection with a robot.

The average age that teachers retire is between 58 and 60 years old, but other teachers will retire before or after this ages.
Conclusion
I am in my last year of Cegep. I start university in September. My goal is to be able to keep going to school even when something happens in my life. I want to finish the university in four years. I am very motivated to becoming a teacher and make a difference in my students life's like some of my teachers did for me.
